When I photograph my goal is to capture what's not on the surface; the deeper story that can’t be told in words. When photographing people I do minimal posing because authentic emotion is worth remembering. Finding beauty in the overlooked and often never seen environment is what inspires me. I live through my art, whether that’s written, in song, through collage or photography. My only hope is that I can create an image that speaks to the viewer like a poem of light and shadow. |
